What we need from you to complete an FCRA compliant Report?


The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act(FCRA) is the regulating authority of Consumer Reporting Agencies in the United States.  There are also FCRA laws by State that also regulate Consumer Reports.  

 

Before an Employment or Tenant Screening Report can be conducted, an Applicant Release and Disclosure Form must be signed by an Applicant acknowledging receipt of a copy of the Summary of Your(applicant/consumer)Rights under the FCRA.  The page can usually be completed in less that Ten(10) minutes by the Subject of the Consumer Report/Background Check. The Applicant can complete and sign the Form on line using their an electronic Signature.  Once completed, the form can be emailed to us from where the Form is completed on line.  To access and complete the Form, Click here.  If you want a hard copy of the Form, we can send you can download the Form and save as a PDF document and the form in your own handwriting.

A Summary of Rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act(FCRA) is included with the Disclosure form for Employers, Non-Profit Organizations(staff & volunteer screening), Private Landlords or Rental Management Agencies to provide an Applicant to sign acknowledging receipt of the Summary of Rights under the FCRA before a Consumer Report-Background Check can be conducted.
